OAK HALL, Va. — A middle school on Virginia's Eastern Shore was evacuated following a threat made to the campus on Tuesday morning, Accomack County Public Schools said.
Arcadia Middle School in Oak Hall was evacuated after the threat was made, with students and faculty moving to Arcadia High School. Students continued receiving instruction at the high school and also had their lunches there.
Additionally, school officials said nearby Kegotank Elementary School had a regularly scheduled fire drill at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, and that it was not connected to the threat investigation underway at Arcadia Middle School.
Shortly after 11 a.m., police gave the all-clear, determining there was no continued threat at Arcadia Middle School. Students will finish their lunch at the high school and then
