Two people arrested after an alleged attack at a County Durham pub have been released on bail.
Police taped off The Quinns Inn, on Spennymoor High Street, following an assault at the venue around 12.30am on Saturday (November 22).
The victim, a 34-year-old man, was taken to James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough, with head injuries and he remains in a stable condition.

Durham Police previously said that two men, aged 21 and 23, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
In a new update, issued on Tuesday, the force confirmed the pair have been released on bail as enquiries continue.
