DELAWARE, Ohio — A Delaware City councilmember is accused of harassing a woman for nearly a month.

Cory Hoffman was charged with telecommunications harassment and menacing by stalking.

Delaware County court records state that between Oct. 22 and Nov. 20, Hoffman called and texted the woman from different phone numbers and sent several emails from different addresses despite being asked to stop. He also called from restricted phone numbers and left several voicemails.

Court records say on Nov. 20, Hoffman reportedly approached the woman and her daughter in the school pick-up line at Scioto Ridge Elementary.

Court records and police have not detailed the relationship between Hoffman, the woman and her daughter.

Hoffman appeared in court on Nov. 21 and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
