A Paris family is confused after their home was shot at 11 times over the weekend.

In a surveillance video shared with the Hamilton Spectator, a dark-coloured SUV briefly slows in front of a home in the newer subdivision along Paris Links Road, and then continues on.

Nearly a minute ticks by before the SUV pulls up again, this time stopping in front of a for-sale sign on the lawn — the house has been on and off the market since June, according to House Sigma, a real-estate data collection app.

Next, “pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop.”

A series of six quick gunshots ring out, followed by a pause. Then five more shots, blasting through the otherwise quiet night.
