A big emergency services response was called to Birmingham in what was believed to be a ‘hazmat’ incident but turned out to be an ‘egg and flour fight’.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were scrambled to Muntz Street in Small Heath on Friday (November 21) night.
The emergency responders were alerted to what was initially believed to be a ‘hazardous materials’ related incident in the road, which sits off Coventry Road and includes Small Heath Library.
A video shows ambulances, and a fire engine in the area, with police tape cordoning off the pavement near the road’s junction with Wright Street.
The ambulance service sent three ambulances and an experienced paramedic officer to the scene.
There they treated three children, one was taken to hospital.
