Today is a STORM ALERT WEATHER DAY! Round 1 moved through this morning. Much of the viewing area saw torrential rainfall, bad driving conditions, and gusty winds throughout the morning commute.

Round 2 will head into the viewing area this afternoon. If the atmosphere remains unstable, and decent cape and shear increase, severe weather is more likely this afternoon and evening. In the case of storms firing up, there is a low-end threat of all forms of severe weather.

These risks include damaging straight-line wind gusts, a low tornado threat, hail, and isolated torrential rainfall across the whole viewing area.
