GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Ellery Chandler led East Grand Rapids to its third consecutive Division 3 girls swimming and diving state title and cemented her legacy among the Pioneer greats in the process.

The senior and future University of Arkansas Razorback captured four state titles and set Division 3 finals records in three events – the 200-yard medley relay, the 100 butterfly and the 100 breaststroke – on Saturday at the Holland Aquatic Center.

Chandler’s 12 career state championships area a school record at a prestigious Pioneer program that has captured a state-record 28 team titles. Kate Simon, a 2025 EGR grad that currently swims at Notre Dame, previously held the school record with 11 event titles.
