The Garden keeps growing.
Garden Catering, the popular Connecticut restaurant chain known for its chicken nuggets and breakfast sandwiches, has announced the grand opening of its new location in Shelton’s Split Rock Development at 702 Bridgeport Avenue. This is the family-owned eatery’s 10th location and its second opening this month.
Garden Catering held a soft opening on Sunday, Nov. 24, but grand opening festivities run from Monday through Saturday (Dec. 1–6). The restaurant will sell $3 bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches and offer free potato cones and free milkshakes on select days, the company said in a release.
Customers can also enter for a chance to win free nuggets for a year.
“Shelton is a vibrant, family-focused community, and we’re excited to be part of it,” said Garden Catering Co-Owner Tina Carpenteri. “We can’t wait to serve up the best nuggets you’ll ever have and to become the go-to spot for families, teams, and workplaces across the community.”
Garden Catering opened a location in Darien at 320 Heights Road on Nov. 17.
That location will also hold its grand opening festivities Monday through Saturday.
On Tuesday (Dec. 2), Garden Catering will give $1 for each special sold to a local charity.
The money will go to the Greater Naugatuck Valley Boys & Girls Club in Shelton. In Darien, the company said it will contribute to the Youth Community Fund of Darien.
Garden Catering was founded in Old Greenwich in 1978 and now has locations in Connecticut and New York.
