A motorcyclist was seriously injured following a collision with a car near a college in Connah's Quay on Monday afternoon. The 17-year-old male rider was rushed from the scene of the incident, near Coleg Cambria, to hospital with "serious, potentially life-threatening, injuries".
The incident occurred on Kelsterton Road at around 4.45pm and police are now urging witnesses to come forward to assist with their investigation. Detective Inspector Tim Evans of North Wales Police said: "I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision and hasn't yet spoken to officers to get in touch.
