ESCANABA — Gladys M. Krokstad, 88, passed away surrounded by her loving family in the early morning of Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Allouez Senior Living.

Gladys was born on June 17, 1937 in Escanaba, the daughter of Henry and Prudence (Guindon) Couillard. She attended and graduated from

Gladys was a beautiful water color painter. She enjoyed the outdoors and spending time gardening. She mostly enjoyed feeding the wildlife that came into her yard. She also loved her cat, she was never without one. Being an amazing mother also meant she was a great cook and could make the best pies.
