CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Officers in Clayton County have issued a Mattie's Call for a former Cobb County Police employee.

Officers say they responded to a missing persons call in the 100 block of Indian Lake Drive.

Family members told police that 63-year-old Machell Scandrett had not been seen or heard from since Nov. 23rd, and her son stated that he last spoke to her via email at 9:28 p.m. A neighbor also reported seeing Scandrett earlier that day, Nov. 23.

According to police, Scandrett suffers from a medical condition that affects her vision, causing her to have difficulty seeing and requiring assistance to get around.

Scandrett's last known location and clothing are unknown.
