ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Thousands of travelers are on the move for the busy holiday travel season, including at the world’s busiest airport.
A weather-related ground stop early Tuesday morning disrupted flights into and out of Atlanta, with more than 600 flights delayed as of 3 p.m.
The good news is the line at the main security checkpoint at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport has been smooth sailing all day.
Four million passengers are expected to pass through Atlanta in the coming days.
“It’s been smooth so far. We’re excited. I’m a little bit of a nervous flier, so thank God I have my brother here with me,” said Olivia Reaves.
“I got no fear,” said her twin brother, Christian.
