Ipswich Town secured their third successive away win by beating Hull City 2-0 at the MKM Stadium, extending their unbeaten run to six games.

Both sides struggled in a tepid first half, but Marcelino Nunez's opening goal brought the match to life, with Chuba Akpom coming off the bench to secure the points, taking the Blues up into play-off places.

Kieran McKenna made six changes to the team that drew 0-0 against Wrexham at the weekend.
