The Justice Department has launched an investigation into United Parks & Resorts Inc. to determine if the company is violating the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by discriminating against guests with disabilities at its theme parks, including SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica, and Busch Gardens Tampa.

According to the complaints, guests who cannot access the parks without their rollators are forced to use inadequate alternative mobility aids and incur extra fees.

Local attorney Rajan Joshi explained the legal implications, stating, "The law is very open towards people with disabilities, and there should be no infringement on it. In order to infringe on a certain device that is used by handicapped people, they must show a legitimate safety concern."
