Portland police on Tuesday identified a man killed in the Parkrose neighborhood in late September as Patrick O. Cardew, Jr.

Police found Cardew , 54, suffering from a gunshot wound near Northeast 102nd Avenue and Northeast Sandy Boulevard just after 11 p.m. on Sept. 22, the bureau said at the time. Cardew died at the scene.
