The broadcast for the top 15 matchup of Oregon and USC averaged 5.428 million viewers with a peak of 6.75 million, according to CBS , which uses Nielsen Big Data + Panel ratings. That was up 61% from last year’s Week 13 game between Penn State and Minnesota.
College GameDay averaged 2.7 million viewers, with 3.5 million in the final hour for its fourth most-watched regular season episode ever, according to ESPN , which also uses Nielsen Big Data + Panel ratings. That’s up 9% from last year’s Week 13 episode from Columbus when Ohio State hosted Indiana.
The rating is slightly ahead of the show’s earlier trip to Eugene this season for Oregon’s game with Indiana, which averaged 2.7 million viewers
