BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - In the Brazos Valley, more than 1 out of 6 households are at risk of hunger. With the holiday season approaching, KBTX is partnering with the Brazos Valley Food Bank for the 30th Annual Food for Families Food Drive.

On Dec. 3, members of the KBTX team will be at six locations across the Brazos Valley accepting food and monetary donations.

First Baptist Church Family Life Center in Hearne

St. Mary’s, Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Hall in Caldwell

Grimes County Fairgrounds in Navasota

Washington County Expo in Brenham

Food donations most needed:

Canned soups with meat or beans

Chili, low-sodium

Canned tomato, low-sodium

Canned chicken and tuna

Canned Fruits
