Man shot in apartment building in downtown Cleveland

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A man was shot in an apartment building at East 13th and Chester Avenue in downtown Cleveland on Tuesday evening.

The shooting happened at the Allerton Apartments around 620 p.m.

The man was taken to MetroHealth Hospital in serious but stable condition.

This is the same building where 14-year-old Rayshawn Watkins was shot and killed on March 19.

19 News has reached out to the Cleveland Division of Police for more information, but has yet to hear back.
