CHEYENNE — Strong, compassionate, selfless and determined are just a few of the words that those who knew Cheyenne Day of Giving founder Greta Morrow used to describe her in the days following her passing.

Morrow has been a pillar of Cheyenne’s local nonprofit community for the past two decades. She set a standard for what giving through compassion looks like, always willing to get things done without ever seeking the spotlight.

On Nov. 18, she passed away in Cheyenne, surrounded by her beloved children. Those who knew her, loved her and worked with her said her passing is a tremendous loss to the capital city.
