For those continuing to look for ways to get into the spirit of the holiday season, Oklahoma City continues to shine with music, décor, shows and tree-lightings, including some this week.

I’ll keep detailing them as I hear about them in this column, but here are a few upcoming events around town :

– If you haven’t been by the First National Center in downtown Oklahoma City during the holidays to see its spectacular decor, now is your chance to celebrate the holiday season kick-off and the lighting of its Great Christmas Tree . The National Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City (Autograph Collection) will celebrate the lighting from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28 in the Great Hall with holiday treats, an appearance from Santa and Mrs. Claus, live music, Christmas carols led by OK3 and more
