NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - A dozen school building improvements and seven years later, Nacogdoches ISD wraps up its last multi-million-dollar bond project.
The nearly 13,000 square foot ‘Professional Development Center’ is attached to the District Support Center.
“This is the final piece of that bond package that was approved by voters a little more than seven years ago,” said communications director Les Linebarger, “It’s really designed for training and holding professional development, seminars, meetings, for our staff during the school year.”
All furniture and equipment are being used as contractors finish up final touchups. The board held its first meeting inside the facility last Thursday. It has a capacity to fit more than 300 people.
