WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - One of Wichita’s favorite Santas is in need of a Christmas miracle after he and his family lost their home in a fire.

During the holidays, kids and their families can visit Santa at a shop in Wichita called Love of Character. The man behind the Santa suit, Keith Jacobs, has brought Christmas magic to visitors for years. This year, the holiday season will be different for him due to a house fire that took everything from his family.

“They lost everything for the past like 50 years of their life,” said Mary Billings, the owner of Love of Character.

Billings says that Jacobs means a lot to not only the store, but to the Wichita community.
