Drivers using the eight toll bridges run by the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission will pay higher tolls in 2026, with tolls increasing to $2 for E-ZPass and $5 for non-E-ZPass drivers of passenger vehicles.

The bi-state agency’s board of commissioners approved the toll increase Monday, which officials said is expected to take effect on or close to Jan. 1. A specific start date will be announced in December.

The commission is the third New Jersey authority to approve or propose a 2026 toll increase this year.

Last week, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority approved a 2026 budget that contains an automatic 3% toll increase for Turnpike and Parkway drivers. That increase takes effect on Jan. 1.
