The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission has approved new toll rates for 2026, expected to take effect around January 1.

The changes apply to all vehicles and eight toll bridges.

Those bridges include: the Milford-Montague bridge, Delaware Water Gap (I-80) bridge, Portland-Columbia bridge, Easton-Phillipsburg (Rt. 22) bridge, I-78 toll bridge, Scudder Falls (I-295) bridge, New Hope-Lambertville (Rt. 202) bridge and the Trenton-Morrisville (Rt 1) bridge.

Car tolls rise to $2 with E-ZPass and $5 with Toll By Plate.

Larger vehicles will pay $6.50 per axle with E-ZPass and $8 with Toll By Plate.

Officials say the increases will help fund infrastructure work and cover rising construction costs.
