Mum 'thought son was dying' during terrifying phone call as he was confronted by armed gang

A mum has told how her terrified son shouted 'they're trying to stab me' down the phone as he told his frightened parents a masked gang armed with knifes was trying to take his bike The incident took place on Lorenzo Drive in Norris Green

A 13-year-old boy frantically called his mum screaming that someone was trying to stab his after being faced with a masked gang who stole two electric bikes from him and his friends. The teenager was out with his friends when boys 'armed with knives' threatened them before stealing the bikes on Monday evening (November 24).

According to the Liverpool Echo the teenager was outside Aldi on Lorenzo Drive in Norris Green when the incident happened at around 7.40pm. The 33-year-old mother, who remains unnamed, told the Echo: "Three lads approached
