MURRAY – A Murray man was charged with trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine possession after the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop.

According to CCSO, deputies conducted a traffic stop for traffic violations at approximately 8:30 p.m. Monday on KY 121 South. A Marshall County unit conducted an open-air sniff of the vehicle using a K-9, which resulted in a positive alert for narcotics. A search was conducted, which recovered more than three grams of suspected cocaine and more than four ounces of suspected methamphetamine. The investigation led deputies to believe the subject, Charles Freeman, 48, of Murray, was selling the illicit drugs.
