WASHINGTON - The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced the availability of low interest federal disaster loans to small businesses and private nonprofit (PNP) organizations in Tennessee, Kentucky and other states who sustained economic losses caused by the drought beginning Sept. 23, 2025.

The disaster declaration covers the counties of Benton, Carroll, Chester, Crockett, Decatur, Fayette, Gibson, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Henry, Houston, Humphreys, Lauderdale, Madison, McNairy, Montgomery, Perry, Stewart and Tipton in Tennessee, and Calloway, Christian and Trigg in Kentucky, as well as Alcorn, Benton, and Tippah in Mississippi.
