LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Our second cold front is pushing through this morning, although this one will not bring much in the way of rain chances.

As you are stepping out the door this morning, you’ll want to go ahead and grab the jacket and coat as it is a little cool at times.

Northerly winds will continue to be a big factor as we head through the day as they gust anywhere from 20-25 mph at times, which will bring in even cooler temperatures for Thanksgiving morning.

Highs this afternoon will be roughly 10 degrees cooler for most locations as we top out in the upper 60s to near 70.

If you are traveling across the state today, the weather looks to remain nice, just don’t forget the sunglasses and the coats as temperature cool quickly this evening.
