Tesco has joined forces with Cancer Research UK in a bid to help people spot cancer symptoms early.

The initiative is aimed at providing support and advice to Suffolk residents who are concerned about possible symptoms.

A recent survey by the charity and YouGov found that many people in the region delay getting symptoms checked due to difficulties getting appointments or believing the symptoms are not serious.

Tesco and Cancer Research UK’s campaign, running until November 30, encourages early cancer diagnosis and assists customers in seeking necessary help.

Tesco pharmacists, specially trained by Cancer Research UK, will be available for initial conversations in selected stores.
