SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A cold front is moving across Georgia and South Carolina, pushing moisture toward the coast.

Our inland communities have the best chance of seeing rain, but this line of showers and storms will be weakening throughout the morning into the afternoon. I-16 will be damp if you are driving toward Macon! Spotty showers will still be possible midday with the front clearing out what moisture that is left by mid afternoon.

Wind gusts over 20 miles per hour will be around through the afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 80s. We’ll quickly cool down behind this front through the evening.

Thanksgiving morning will start out in the low to mid 40s with plenty of sunshine expected. If you are traveling on Thursday, the weather looks great with highs only reaching the lower
