TOWN OF TEXAS − A 72-year-old Rhinelander man is dead after a one-vehicle crash Nov. 22 in Marathon County.

At 5:51 p.m. Nov. 22, a caller reported a crash near the intersection of Marathon County W and Alamo Road in the Marathon County town of Texas, about 10 miles northeast of Wausau.

The driver, William R. Kibler, the driver and only occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation. The town of Texas First Responders and Fire Department, Wausau Fire Department, Rescue and Medical Services and Marathon County Medical Examiner's Office assisted the Marathon County Sheriff's Office at the scene.
