Dashcam footage from a fire crew near the North Dakota-Minnesota border shows the terrifying moment a driver almost struck two responders during Tuesday's blizzard.
The incident unfolded near Harwood, north of Fargo, where firefighters and the North Dakota Highway Patrol were responding to a number of vehicles off the road on I-29.
Footage from a Harwood Fire and Rescue vehicle shows a white pickup truck suddenly careen into view before sliding off the road, forcing two firefighters to jump out of the way before it almost strikes a state patrol squad car.
I-29 ended up closing for multiple hours on Tuesday in both directions due to icy roads and poor visibility as a major blizzard swept rural areas of North Dakota and Minnesota.
