All the parts of England set to be SPARED from the next snow bomb - as flurries return with a vengeance - have been revealed. Met Office forecasters say snow could hit parts of England - albeit mainly higher ground - this weekend.

Sunday looks likely as the date where temperatures plunge, bringing with it the chance for snowfall. But only areas in the north - mainly elevated and higher regions - will receive a dusting.

Indeed, maps show counties set to be spared are Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, the West Midlands, Warwickshire , Worcestershire , Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and Northants.
