Though turkey is the iconic Thanksgiving entree, sides can be just as much a star of the holiday feast.

Using data from Oct. 10 to Nov. 10, Google Trends revealed which Thanksgiving sides people Googled the most in each state. A large percentage of the states searched for one particular Thanksgiving side the most. Only eight states strayed from the nation's most-searched Thanksgiving side.

Nevada was one of those eight. And even within that smaller group, Nevada stood out for its own distinct choice.
