Police have launched an investigation after two vehicles, including a business van, were set on fire in an early hours incident. Emergency services were called to Banton Place, in the east end , following the "wilful" blaze in the early hours of Monday, November 24.

Footage of the incident shared with Glasgow Live shows the moment both vehicles were targeted . A figure dressed in dark clothing can be seen dousing a red car and the white van in fuel. Suddenly, both vehicles burst into flames , and the thug can be seen fleeing from the scene. The suspect appears to be wearing black shoes white socks, a slim puffer jacket with a hoodie underneath, and what looks like joggers.
