A drug dealer who was caught with cocaine, cannabis and LSD has been locked up after he was raided twice by police.

Kelvin Wright was initially arrested with cannabis edibles and LSD in June 2023 and continued dealing to clear his drug debt before being caught again in September this year.

Teesside Crown Court heard how the 41-year-old was street dealing cocaine and cannabis when he was picked up by police.

Matthew Hopkins, prosecuting, said Wright committed the second set of offences while he was on bail for the first set from two years’ earlier.

He said officers first searched the defendant’s home and found a large amount of cannabis edibles, consisting of chocolate and sweets, along with more cannabis and scales, and empty cannabis packaging.
