TRAVERSE CITY — Two long-pending downtown projects could have shovels in the ground by next spring following action by the city’s Downtown Development Authority Board.
The DDA Board moved ahead on two multi-million dollar downtown projects — a new $2.3 million pavilion structure at the Sara Hardy Farmers Market that’s been on the DDA’s to-do list for eight years — along with authorizing final design plans for the recently approved $2.55 million in upgrades at Rotary Square along Union Street.
