The holiday travel rush is here, with thousands of people expected to fly out of Jacksonville International Airport on Wednesday.
According to JAX officials, nearly 13,000 are expected to fly out of JAX on Wednesday.
Last week, during a Jacksonville Aviation Authority’s board meeting, JAA CEO Mark Vanloh said Wednesday would be Jacksonville’s busiest air travel day, followed by Sunday. For that reason, officials are urging travelers to plan ahead to ensure a smooth trip.
