OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma City Black Chamber of Commerce , in partnership with Tinker Federal Credit Union , will offer a series of free personal finance workshops in December aimed at helping families strengthen their financial skills.

The sessions will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Metro Tech’s Economic Development Center, 1700 Springlake Drive.

The three-part series will cover budgeting , credit building and debt reduction . The Dec. 4 workshop, “Budget Boss Bootcamp,” will focus on setting financial goals and building workable budgets. On Dec. 11, participants will learn about maintaining and improving credit. The Dec. 18 session will outline strategies for managing and reducing debt.

Financial counselors from Tinker Federal Credit Union will be on-site each week
