A murder investigation has been launched after a man died in a city street attack.

A man in his 30s suffered life-threatening injuries following the incident in Barbourne Road in Worcester , to the north of the city centre, in the early hours of Tuesday (November 25).

Emergency crews rushed to the scene at around 4.15am where they found a man fighting for his life.

He was given advanced life support before being taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham ,
