ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A man was found dead in north St. Louis City Tuesday evening, police say.
At around 4:45 p.m., police say they responded to a call for shots fired and a person down near the intersection of Sullivan and Warne Avenues. Upon arrival, police found a man on the ground, having been shot.
EMS responded, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man’s identity has not been released, but police say he was in his 40s.
Homicide detectives are investigating.
Police say they are working to learn what led to the shooting.
