Police helicopter circles Bristol area in search for injured man View Image
A police helicopter was deployed above Bristol to search for an injured motorcyclist. The rider reportedly left the scene of a crash after refusing medical treatment.
The helicopter, which was seen circling above Blaise Castle, was utilised in a search for the man following a crash in Shirehampton this morning (Wednesday, November 26).
Avon and Somerset Police was called to a crash involving an electric motorbike and a car on Arnall Drive at around 10.45am.
The rider of the motorbike, who is believed to be a man in his 20s, suffered a head injury.
However, he refused medical treatment and left the scene on the same bike, police said.
