FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio -- AARP Ohio’s commitment to improve healthcare access for older adults included the recent opening of a private telemedicine station at the Fairview Park Senior Center.
The amenity allows seniors to receive virtual medical care and support without the need for travel.
“AARP is proud to support this innovative telemedicine station through our Community Challenge Grant,” AARP Ohio State Director Jennifer Carlson said. “This project reflects our commitment to helping older adults live independently and access quality healthcare.
“Healthcare shouldn’t depend on your ZIP code or mobility. This telemedicine station is a step toward a more connected, age-friendly Ohio.”
