The Lyon County Commission approved payment for an invoice from S&P Global for analytical services for the Public Building Commission (PBC) bond issuance for a total of $19,850.

The call pertained to the revenue bond, which will total approximately $5.16 million and be used for the construction of the new Emergency Communications Center and shooting range, earning an A+ bond rating.

The commission emphasized that the large majority of funds raised by the bond will be allocated towards the new Emergency Communications Center and that no property tax funds will be used for the project.
