A 21-year-old man died after a vehicle slammed into a utility pole in Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County, authorities announced on Wednesday, Nov. 26.
The man—who is not being publicly identified to allow his family time to mourn—was pronounced dead at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem at 10:56 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio.
He had been riding in the front passenger seat of a vehicle that crashed in the area of the 1800 block of Flint Hill Road at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24, the release said.
The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, Upper Saucon Township Police Department, and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office are jointly investigating the crash. The coroner is withholding the cause of death pending further investigation.
Next of kin have been notified.
No further information will be released at this time, according to the coroner.
