WYOMING, MI —United Parcel Service is cutting 67 jobs at its facility at 5757 Clyde Park Ave. SW in Wyoming early next year.
Company spokesperson Karen Tomaszewski Hill said the layoffs target part-time employees who work in daytime package sorting at the facility. The layoffs are expected to occur by Jan. 20, 2026, when UPS will end daytime sorting at the facility.
“Our employees are extremely important to us, and we understand the impact this may have on them and their families,” she said. “We are working to place as many employees as possible in other positions. We will work with those who may be impacted throughout the process to provide support.”
She said the total number of employees who work at the Clyde Park facility was not available.
