EUGENE, Ore. - Caregivers and volunteers at Sacred Heart Medical Center were busy distributing Thanksgiving baskets to local families in need.
This longstanding tradition, hosted by PeaceHealth, has been a community staple for more than 40 years. The event is a collaborative effort with contributions from various local organizations. OCCU and Avamere provided bags for the meals, while Emerald Fruit and Produce donated food items. Bigfoot Beverages supplied trucks and drivers for distribution and food pick-up, and Parties to Go assisted with additional supplies.
