ELVIRA, Iowa (KWQC) - A car and a bus crashed Tuesday morning at an Elvira intersection.

A Northeast Community School District bus and a car crashed at about 7:33 a.m. at the intersection of 380th Avenue and 220th Street, according to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office.

The bus was turning north onto 380th Avenue when it was hit by a car that was turning south, deputies said.

No students on the bus were injured, deputies said. The students were moved to another bus and taken to school.

The driver of the car had minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital, deputies said.

Police are investigating the incident.
