KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Law enforcement in Kalamazoo shared the identity of the skeletal remains found near a wooded area earlier this month.

Investigators said the remains found near Milham Park in Kalamazoo have been identified as 62-year-old Bryan Curtis Hughes.

His cause of death is undetermined at this point.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said they extend their condolences to the Hughes family and his friends.

Circumstances surrounding the death are still unclear, police said.
