Seattle police officers arrested a 30-year-old violent felon armed with a machete while doing proactive patrols in the Chinatown-International District yesterday morning.

On Nov. 25 at 2:00 a.m., officers patrolling 12th Avenue South and South King Street saw a man they recognized with warrants for his arrest.

When officers detained the man, he gave them a false name to conceal his identity. They placed him under arrest for his warrants:
